Every time and with every single canvas, I embark on a journey...…a captivating exploration of the unknown artistic realm, clearly as being in a state of “Suspended Animation”. In all the vibrant hues that dance across the canvas, I find myself entwined in a profound tapestry of political, social and personal narratives which unfurl with an unabashed abandon. There seems to be an almost desperate desire to encapsulate the human experience, collective as well as individual and terribly personal. For the viewer, it also results in a state of “suspended animation” for that brief time, until the onlooker breathes again and moves on to another canvas...and so the process begins anew.
